It’s not just about food. It’s about a satisfying meal prepared with only the freshest of ingredients, prepared by expert hands and served by charismatic people. That’s a true authentic mexican experience.
Senor’s Chile is the second restaurant opened by Fredy Salmoran and his family. Fredy came to the United States with his wife Della a little over 20 years ago. They both worked any job they could find.
Soon after arriving, Della was pregnant with their first child Fredy Jr. then three years later had another boy which they named Harry. At this point Fredy was taking on multiple jobs working the majority of the day with only a couple hours of sleep. This was all in order to provide for his family, this went on for many years until eventually he would move up to higher positions in the restaurants he worked. Once he saw that he had an opportunity he took it and sought out to become a chef.
After years and years of working as a cook, prep, dishwasher, anything you can name he was offered the position of sous chef at an Italian restaurant.
He was able to start learning about new things, like placing orders from food distributers, dealing with customer service, and overall taking charge in the restaurant. The chef of the restaurant eventually retired leaving Fredy as the new chef.
Fredy after working a couple years as a chef decided he was going to open up his own restaurant. So, with all the money he had saved up over the years he opened up Mi Lindo Cancun Grill (2134 Forest Drive, Annapolis MD).
His first restaurant took off and soon became one of the best if not best authentic mexican restaurants in the area also serving authentic Latin cuisine. After opening Mi Lindo Cancun Grill, his sons Fredy Jr. and Harry started working in the restaurants with him and his wife.
After 4 years of being open they opened up Senor’s Chile with the idea of it being a more Authentic Mexican Street Food Restaurant. It’s like the food they would sell on the streets of Mexico. And a year after opening Senor’s Chile, they opened a third location, called Senor Chile Cantina (1264 Baydale Dr, Arnold MD).
Fredy, Della and their sons all work in each restaurants and hope to be able to open more in the future together as a family because working together as a family you can do anything.
